Here at SunnyBrook, we like to keep our residents busy with a variety of activities. The goal of our activities coordinator is to have something for everyone enjoy and do. We offer exercise classes, weekly bingo with prizes, crafts, card games, puzzles, and movies on the bigscreen TV. Monthly birthday parties and special events that coordinate with the holidays, we have ministers that visit for church services. We try to get out into the community and enjoy what Henry county has to offer. We do fishing trips, go out to resturants, a Christmas light tour, ride the Ghost train, and go to Mt. Pleasants own Old Threshers Reunion, these are just a few examples of excursions we do. Monthly theme meals is a activity that we are currently implementing for more fun at meal time, we also grill out once a week, hospitality hour is every Friday afternoon and have a English tea party every month. We do a potluck every year and invite the residents families to come and join us. As you can see we try to keep the residents busy by providing many activities, hopefully something for everyone to enjoy. |
